Domaine de Courbissac 2004 Minervois (Cesseras) [1 bottle]
Rich, round, peppery, spicy with ripe tannins well integrated. A big wine, but plenty of acidity. Pleasing minerality and a hint of earthiness. Finish is pleasantly warm, but this is the hot South of France. 70-75% Carignan balanced with syrah and cinsault.
Domaine de Courbissac 2004 Pandora [1 bottle]
Round, well balanced, with sweet, firm tannins; Big perfume from 3 months of skin contact. Notes of black pepper, cassis, wildberries and oil-cured olive with balanced acidity. Drinks like a wine twice its prices and shows great aging potential. 50% Grenache balanced with syrah and carignan.
Domaine de Courbissac 2004 Orphee [1 bottle]
Mouvedre, syrah, grenache and a little carignan. Intense, deep purple color. Chewy wine with truffle notes and rich cassis undertones. Amazingly fresh for such a big wine- the acidity is nearly mouth-wateringly juicy.
