The prince of sweet white wines in Italy. It is yellow and straw-like in color with intense aromas typical of its variety. Delicious white flowers, peach and apricot. Slight frizzante and bright acid ensure a harmonious finish thats never cloying. At only 5% alc. its wonderful for a holiday brunch and essential with desert.
Vintage Report: 2007Winter was unusually warm and dry and the Spring was hot and summery. While there was some rain in may and June the Summer brought more heat and very little precipitation. The success of all the red varietals is most exciting, however the classic white grapes also did very well. Through out Piedmont yields were approximately 14% below the average.
